The Nursery

The Day Nursery has been welcoming children through its doors since it was first built as St Nicholas Primary School in 1874. The premises are an ideal setting for The Day Nursery where the extensive grounds and the spacious rooms have been resourced to provide a stimulating environment to meet the needs of the different stages of a child’s development.

We are a member of the National Day Nursery Association (NDNA).

Our Team

Our staff undergo a rigorous selection process. They have to hold all the relevant qualifications and successfully go through tough vetting processes of course. However, most importantly they have to fit our team.

The Rooms

The rooms are large, bright and airy. Each room is CCTV monitored. The Baby unit and dining rooms are air-conditioned to maintain optimum temperature whatever the weather.
